The Cliff House Apartments was a project for a 60 unit apartment building on Kaiser Permanente's property in the Overlook neighborhood of Portland. The dramatic site looked over railyards to downtown Portland and West Hills, and to the north were views of Overlook Park.

The concept was to have a curvy form matching the hillside facing the south, and a flat face facing the park, a halved piece of fruit.
