Potential Resiliency Plans

The goal is to save lives.

• Everyone has an emergency backpack.

• All people with special needs (senior or disabled person nearby)have an 'assembly partner'

1. A significant earthquake is felt. (approx 6.5+)

Assess roads. Aware that Neacoxie culverts may collapse.

2. Everyone grabs their backpack, critical items, and immediately goes to the Assembly area ('A') that is within 15 minutes of where they are. Bring your kids, bring 'assembly partner', bring pets.

• People west of Neacoxie Creek go to Palisades (A1) or S. Ocean (A2).

People on Summit go to Palisades A1 or S. Ocean A2 or House A3 or Water Tower A4 or Vertical Evac Tower A5 depending on distance and condition of Neacoxie crossings

People east 101 go to House A3 or Water Tower A4  or Vertical Evac Tower A5.

A Tsunami comes through. Water subsides. Assume McCormick Gardens Road area has approx 5' of water, Neacoxie vicinity has approx 5' of water.

People in need navigate to Water Tower shelter if possible for longer term shelter. Lockers at A1, A2 and A5 Assembly areas have provisions for several days for several hundred people.
